Baufix Woodstain

I bought a litre of this stuff, from Lidl. It is billed as: Acrylic Water Based Woodstain, about 8 quid for a big tin. I bought it mainly for the shed and a few wooden trailer parts.

Has anyone tried it on the boat?

Yes I have.........not sure how long it will last but all these "woodstains" are a mixed blessing in my opinion. The metal priming paint seems very good quality to me so I can't see why it should'nt be as good as any & probably better than most.
