In the process of buying a boat equipped with a Battman Pulstronic ammeter (?) but no display registers when power is on. Black button beneath display has no effect. Any advice /web pages for information would be much appreciated.

Battman....

The Battman measures voltage and current, and computes amp-hours used, so it's a useful bit of kit. If there's no display, it's probably a wiring fault. You can download a user manual here which includes full wiring details.

Persevere with it, they are fantastic bits of equipment and very reliable, so as others have said, if it ain't working, it's almost certainly a loose or broken wire.

If you're still stuck after getting hold of the manual, PM me, and I'll do what I can to help. I've had one on my last two boats and it's an essential bit of kit as far as we're concerned!

Am now working through the downloaded manual. Many thanks.

herbsut,

Hopefully you are still monitoring this forum.

I too have a Pulstronic Battman on a newly acquired boat.

The link to the manual download no longer seems to work.

If you still have the manual I would very much like a copy.

Can you help please - or any other member.

Many thanks
