We are running a stall at the Battlesbridge Boat Jumble on 4th September with the aim of:

a. raising some money for the RNLI and
b. decluttering boat lockers, sheds, garages etc

So this is not asking if you have anything you don't really need - of course you do. This is asking you to find a way of getting it to us. Us is Full Circle, Patrick (Flipper) and me. Patrick is somewhere north of Stour (I think) and Jim and me mill about in the Dengie, out to Chelmsford and South East Essex generally.

So get sorting, send some PMs, come along.

If you want to sell something expensive then we suggest a brokerage fee to RNLI to be agreed.

I am donating little odds and sods that are a fiver or less.
Anything over a tenner I am intending to donate 20%.

Happy to collect locally.

I am in Cambridge but spend most weekends in Southend where my GF lives (and my boat happens to be there too, conveniently ;)) so I can collect stuff in between. I also travel with work so can fit in picking stuff up. eg today my journey was, Southend-Surbiton-Leicester-Cambridge (sheesh, yeh I know...)

Patrick

Come on folks. Clear out your garage or spare room. If you don't think you've got any jumble then ask the missus (or mister).:)

Bring it to pirate weekend if that is easier - one of us will be there.

Large assortment of various bits and pieces which have been about to 'come in useful' for the last 40 years collected from us by The Lazy Kipper today.

Good luck with the sale.

I have some more bits I collected from AliM and Gordon yesterday.

I have promises of riches beyond the wildest dreams of avarice from Solene, and hopefully the chandlery squirrels known as Laurin will also stump up.

I might add my own pile now includes a kayak and a Mariner 4 Saildrive outboard. And rope. Lots of rope.

Roger, hopefully you will be able to collect from here, one Brookes & Gatehouse LCD chart plotter for the collection. If unable, perhaps someone else could step in ?. Same basis as FC, wouldn't mind that outboard but unfortunately other things take priority at the moment :o
Engineless of Suffolk now as the owner of current o/b needs it back as he's now with boat
Will check to confirm, but I believe there are one or two other items the boss has deemed to be surplus to requirements
Sure she's wrong though

Moodysabre and his crew now have an extra big space to sell the donated items so they have room for plenty more items. We look forward to seeing lots of East Coast forumites on the 4th Sept and lots of money raised for the R.N.L.I.

Nigel

We shall be there from 0730 - the gate is open for sellers until 0930 - just tell them you are with me. If you come just before 0930 then we should be set up.

All contributions and helpers welcome. Chaos may ensue :)
