Anyone seen a place to order proper power lugs?

I'm not talking about flare stater terminals, but proper close ended power lugs in a variety of sizes 25/35/50m2

According to my search so far it's almost as if they don't exist in the UK.

The multinational electronic sites have some Wurth Elekronik ones that look good. Problem is every one of those site Mauser, Digikey, RS, Farnell want close to £20 for delivery for a couple of items that can be put in padded envelope and sent most places in the world for less than the price of a beer.

In case people are wondering, the flared ones are usually thinner material. I've certainly come across it in the past when crimping. I also hate them as you end up with a massive hump in the heat-shrink. Also they sent to have a hole in the end which completely defeats the whole object of heat-shriking them anyway.

All of the ones below are flared:

Easy to find. As well as the RS link which lw395 gave, try https://www.acornengineer.co.uk/hd-crimp-terminal-40-50mm2-x-m10-95 I've bought from Acorn and they do smaller pack sizes if you only want a few.

CPC/Farnell do ones with straight ends rather than flared. They have a bit more substance than the thin flared ones. Maybe also from Cablecraft.

Acorn charge £3.95 for delivery; RS charge £4.95 for small orders.

RS sell RS Pro terminals, as well as Wurth terminals. The hole in the end of some terminals is to allow the introduction of solder after crimping if people want that.

I bought some from Conrads https://www.conrad.com/o/ring-cable-lugs-0225013

These are not flared.

My order was small, just 10 lugs totalling about £23, and the postage was £6.99.

That was in 2014.

If you crimp them properly, the hole won't make any difference, the lug will seal around the cable.
The flare reduces stress onthe cable strands. And stops the heat shrink or other sleeve getting pulled off.
Smaller sizes, up to about 16sqmm are in Screwfix or Toolstation.
As ever, ebay is a good place to look for people sellimg smaller quantities with economical postage:

I've seen those. They have a big flare. As I've said I don't want a flare. 1) It causes problem with the headshrink you end up with a massive bump. 2) It increases the size of the terminal and means that it cannot fit into space it is supposed to, e.g. electronic devices like Sterling's Alternator to Battery charger, or Battery to Battery charger.

I have now ordered some Wurth ones. These seem to be good quality are the type I was looking for in the first instance.

Thanks all for the help.

P.S I'm dealing with sizes from 35mm2 - 70mm2 and studs of 6-10mm.
