I just brought two new battery's for Danbrit , take note
130 ahr and cranking amps 680 .
For two including VAT £99.88 good or what, I did get trade on that but even then at retail they were just under £50.00 each plus vat.

Where Where you ask !! Linco plc

Yes it might be of no use to some but always nice to know
Engine starting day tomorrow then Friday move to moorings where sparks fly as the mast is coming off . So if any one wants it be quick !! it's free .
cheers
Mick

Dunno about Oak Trees Mick but I have a huge and I mean massive (appx. 10 ton) Black Poplar that has fallen down in the gales. It is now stripped of boughs and is yours for the taking, though Lord only knows how you would do it.

Should have paid a few quid more.....

....and got the ones used on tail lift trucks.

Designed for 90 minutes of deep discharge followed by starting up a truck engine.

I forget the type code but any truck battery supplier will assist.

Best price about £65 including Vodka And Tonic.

Yes, I got these a year ago - 2 x Exide 110M for £60 each inc VAT from local ATS branch - best price around - But one was not fully charged & I didn't check so went flat on me a fortnight later.
The Adverc site recommended them.

got 3 on board two domestic and 1 engine - never charged them up this year apart from what the engine provides - done 70+hrs and 200 miles with no trouble - good all round general purpose I think - got one of those little bubble windows in the top too /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
