Just wondering if anyone had any opinion on what jump starter to get , just incase my battery was flat at sea, just wanted to be safe, it’s only a 100hp diesel.

Thanks!

Do you only have a single battery onboard ? Not one for the engine and one for domestics ?

I have 2 batteries onboard , / battery charger / shore power available… Maybe I am being over cautious…. Was wondering if I needed if / what sort of jump starter for a 2L marine diesel

Thanks!

I've got standard AWB rotary isolators but I fitted the above as a link across domestic and engine +ve in case eng battery fails or is flat.

Because of modern cars drain batterys when stood for any length of time - I do have a Lithium Jump Pack .... and I have been amazed at what it can do ...
Its a Baseus unit .. USB C charged .. with USB A output and the jump starter adaptor ... it started my 4.4L Range Rover ... my 2.5L T5 Volvo XC70 .... and my 2.5L TD Movano truck when they needed it ....

It now goes with me on the boats !!
