Battery connection methods

I'm installing a separate battery for my bow thruster and windlass. The battery I'm using has both posts and studs available for connections. What's best (electrically)? Should I use clamps on the cables to connect to the posts or should I crimp lugs to the cables and use the studs? Any knowledgeable advice will be gratefully received...

Properly crimped tube lugs on the cables and bolt to the terminals.

Don't forget the charging diode etc.!!!
A pal of mine lost his thruster in an interesting maneuver due to the yard not installing the connections to the alternator...
