Before you part with lots of geenstuff are you sure it's not showing a charge simply cos the batteries are actually fully charged?

Does it make any difference if you put a load on the batteries?

Cross your fingers - It might just be working as it should!

Off the top of my head

1, It's a float charger and the batteries are fully charged so it's not charging.

2, Batteries not connected to charger - Maybe broken wire or perhaps the battery switch needs to be on before the batteries get any charge. Disconnect all the batteries and see if you can still get a 12V cabin light to work, if so then the charger is OK.

3, Output fuse blown.

4, It's time to part with some folding...

It may be the early bird that catches the worm but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.

i was alerted to a possible fault because overnight i had run down the domestics and in the morning the port engine would not start due to flat battery, had to use the cross over, 1hour later after running, battery charged enough to enable normal starting.

Turn charger of, turn on cabin lights, wate a few minutes, turn on charger, do the lights get brighter, yes charger pos ok, no charging at fault.

What make charger ?
