Battery advice

I have to replace the batteries (3 x 140Ah), as they are dead due to running them down totally, by accident. The last replacement was with these, Varta LFD 140, some years ago,

I would like to replace with Varta, and I found these available locally, (cannot buy from UK) The size is critical and the ones below are exactly the same dimensions as the old ones.

Seems to be the same battery with a different name. Both deep cycle. €199 euros each, delivered.
Any comments?

They both appear to be Varta LFD 140

If you want to keep to the same make and specification ( low maintenance, flooded lead acid , leisure batteries ) go for them.

Not too bad with 500 cycles if the marketing hype is to believed and certainly lots are worse.

Exactly the same as my Bosch T4. I went to have it tested a few days ago after being 10years old. Capacity is now 58% and cranking is perhaps 80% of new.

That domes answer your question but gives you an idea of how long a bosch lasted me. A replacement Bosch was £150. They own brand of the same was £130.
