Batteries

Anybods know of a battery supplier on Mallorca, for reasonable priced 6 or 12 volt semi or deep cycle batteries, I need 10 x 12 volt 110 a/h or 12 x 6 volt 200/225 a/h. Thanks.

Come on somebody must know one, I've been quoted some horrendous prices so far, I may even consider going back to the mainland and replacing them!

The battery bank I have, is 315 ah at 24 volt and is totally inadequate for the boat, the batteries last about 8 hours, (the batteries are stuffed) before needing the genny on again. They have to keep two fridges and fans etc going, so I want to go to at least 525 ah, but if I go for 6 volt cells, I have to go either 450, or 675 ah, as this is the way it works, so I would rather go for 675. (12 batteries) My charger is a 60 amp one, so 525 would be ok. The battery bank I have is now going belly up, so I have to change the bank, so will upgrade at the same time. The batteries are stuffed, because the charger I had wasn't man enough for the job and only ever charged up to 26.7 volts, which over the last four years has done them in, I should have checked the charging voltage!!!
