Just had to replace all the batteries on the boat even though they were only 6 months old and now.... lets take the Lotus out (new battery) totally flat.....oh well i'll take the Audi.....flat.
WTF is wrong with all my toys? Oh and not that i was going to take it out but tried speed boat engine and guess what?

It ain't bad luck or electrical gremnils, Andy. There MUST be something draining the power when you are not on board. Stick an ammeter into the circuitry when you think everything is switched off, and you'll see there some current creeping out somewhere. THEN you have the fun of finding out what is using the juice up.

It is solveable, honest !

After you disconnect, put the meter (or a low watt test lamp) between the batter + terminal and the + battery cable, if you have flow, disconnect the alternator, if the flow stops it's a blown diode.

Avagoodweekend......

Must be the leprauchans coming in on the sea mist...
Oh well......seems no alternative but to all go for a walk to Aberthaw and back, Can always pontificate over the battery problems over a drink at the Blue Anchor..
