I realised that but, maybe wrongly, assumed that a reasonable working knowledge of English would go with being associated with a USA marketing firm. I'm becoming less convinced that command of English is the issue. The first line is perfect, but then it degenerates quickly. The suggestion made by Barry Jones may well be right - we'll see.
