Hi All!

It's that time of year again and the Barry Yacht Club "Open Brains Race" is on Sat 26th Sept.

ENTRY IS FREE! We would would love to see some new entries this year to add to our increasing numbers and anyone is welcome to enter the race (sorry MB's, unfortunately only yachts).

Once again we have "CASH PRIZES" and visitor berths available as well as a buffet and warm welcome for the weekend!

Sorry for the late reply!

Yes believe it or not there was a result, it was a very, very slow first half to the monkstone when those that got there just in time to not be pushed back by the tide got around and caught the easterly breeze (if that is what you could call a wiff) which seen 5 boats of the 20 starters make the line in Jacksons bay by the 5 hour limit.

Eventual winner corrected from handicapps was "Pepper" from Porlock taking the top money prize and race trophy.

It was a great day in all with visitors from all the usual channel clubs and very nice to see a south shore boat take the honours for a change!
