I had a lift out and jetwash 3 weeks ago. It was still quite clean. But I thought after the lack of use a scrub would make the most of the season.
Speed rapidly dropped off.
I was in Newtown creek today and dived the boat.
I needed a chisel to get the barnacles of the props followed by a scotchbrite pad. Completely encrusted.
After 3 weeks.

Same experience as you, funny enough was in Newtown Creek about 3 weeks ago and did the same dived underneath and cleaned, this week had to do it again scrap off tiny barnacles developing on the props. It was the same last year around this time, it has got worse over the last few years in my experience.

How long does that last, do you know?

Until mid August but they are most prolific during mid June to mid July (At least in N Wales) You will see everything non bio AF'd coated in tiny white barnacles the size of large grains of sand. They come off easily in the first week or two but there after they become entrenched and your AF pretty useless at shedding them.
