I swear that the guy who comes up with a synthetic version will become a millionaire.That stuff is impossible to shift.I had to sand it off my keel because even a carbide scraper wouldn't make an impression without removing the epoxy paint underneath.Amazing stuff.

I believe there is already a good deal of research into it for use in dentistry - another aggressive environment! I wonder that they haven't synthesised it yet, or perhaps people don't want their teeth to taste like my keel.
