Considering it says it had it's restoration in 1994, I'm going for the misprint option.

I can see that the previous owners were nice and modest having the year of construction as a sail number. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Think there are three zeros or a K missing.

Quite a high OGA sail number, says 1200, sniffily...

Sail number is the OGA, Old Gaffers Association number. The boat is Tammy. Certainly not for sale for £40. More like 40K.

Seen this quite a lot recently on this site. I think sellers are including a K where the site requires numbers only, but the site doesnt warn them.

Try entering a search limit for yachts under 1000 GPB, you will find some amazing apparent bargains!
