I'm currently working in Ankara, and I need a little break in May. So let me pick your brains:

Bareboat charter, 4 persons, 3-4 days

- where? (including anchorages, restaurants,...)
- reputable charter companies?

If you can get a oneway from Bodrum to Marmaris, go for it. Either that anywhere around Bodrum,Marmaris or Gocek is well worth it.

For a short break I would recommend hiring from Gocek or Fethiye. There are many wonderful anchorages all within or very close to Fethiye bay. On the Gocek side of the bay there is a large area of sheltered water so if the wind is strong you can get some fast sailing without any significant waves.

Agree anywhere between Fethiye and Bodrum would be ideal, but do make sure you charter from a reputable firm; don't risk a "private" deal with an owner, the authorities take a fairly dim view of that.

I expect a search for yacht charters in Turkey will turn up dozens of opportunities.

You'll love it!

That's why I would like some feedback from the wise men on the forum (all three of them) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
