OK! I´ve finally arrived! After an eventful crossing from Mallorca, which we got hammered, winds low, but seas awkward short and steep! Anyway, it´s a wonderful place! Anybody else down here, come and visit, I´m on pontoon F, berth 40, Englander, I will be away again to work, on Monday, for two weeks, but the crew is still there. any help with suppliers repair addresses etc. would be most appreciated, I need somewhere to repair my Zodiac, a Zodiac dealer would be useful. Right thats it for now, I´ll keep you all posted as to future plans, the barcelone boat show is from 2nd to 10th of Nov. I´ll be going, free tickets!! I´ll be posting again aswell, back on the rig. Fair winds and clean diesel to you all!! Colin.

Puerto soller, puerto pollensa, puerto portals, cala san vicente and a bunch of other places, always anchored, can't afford marinas in the summer. What's the name of your boat, I may have seen you and Englander is not easy to miss! I was in menorca aswell, but only for a week.

We were the Aleutian 64 anchored everywhere as I object to paying £150+ just to tie up. Soller, Pollensa in time for the Saga oldies, Portals? where can you anchor in Portals? The boat is now back at Club de Mar and i will go back when I get p**** off with the English weather.

I didn't see you, but then again you didn't see me! No way I would pay for a marina there, I only ever put my boat in marinas in the winter, but I will also be investing in a giant anchor with very sharp flukes for next year! I anchored just inside the big breakwater to the marina towards the beach, plenty of shelter and close to the amenities (bars/restaurants). Met up with TCM there on his wonderful Leopard, had a great time and nice meal. P.....ed off with the weather yet? I was in Pollensa, when we goit hit by 46 knot winds for a night and day, very.............. interesting would cover it! Did you see the seaplane taking off and landing, quite a sight that is!

How giant is a Giant Anchor? There are a couple of big anchors outside my boathouse that look like those that sailors get tattooed on their arms. No good to you, I suppose?

They would be just about big enough, but the wrong type, unfortunately. I could have got Sainty to bring one down in his handbaggage. Hows the boat coming along?

The boats progressing thanks. Awaiting more parts from ASAP for the engine marinisation, my god is this lark expensive! It's a good job that I'm balancing it off with the fun I've had doing the boat up.

Currently doing up the cabin and awaiting the day when I can clear these varnished boat bits off my dining table.

We went through Pollensa about a week after the storm, debris everywhere. We moored just outside the marina and watched the seaplane roll down from its hanger and take off. I saw one Leopard in Portals but thought it a bit too old for TCM's, spent a few Sunday lunchtimes in Flanagans or Wellies (well Sunday afternoons).

Your right, thats not TCMs' its a older one. Went into welklies, but at the price of local beer, didn't go too often, found cheaper watering holes, outside the port area. That sea plane is something else, almost took my wind indicator off one time, I loved to watch it coming in and taking off again after picking up water. I've some great video of it.
