After a particularly horrendous couple of weeks at work I am looking forward to some time on board. We are planning to go to the Folly Saturday afternoon, probably stay Sunday and head back Monday after good food, rest, crabbing, dingy rowing, games of chess, meeting other boat owners and family time in general. Hope to see other Forumites if anyone is in the area.

Anyone else got plans? Exciting or otherwise!

PS if it gets too wet on Sunday we might try our luck at Yarmouth!

For us open boaters its not looking great. Saturday is out completely for us anyway, Sunday looks sunshine and showers and Monday same.

Hoping it improves, we are planning to head to Poole on Sunday or Monday for lunch.

I wonder, given the forecast whether Yarmouth will be a bit quieter? We were staying away because it is Bank Holiday. I am not letting a spot of rain spoil my fun though... it's been three weeks since going on board... yes all those lovely weekends!

We might see you there, we'll be in our usual place over the bridge.

Saturday looks grim!

Ben, indeed Saturday looks bloody awful... but we WILL be there, aim to leave Hamble around 1030, Yarmouth by 12, in deli by 12.15, back on board with old speckled hen and pasty by 12.30...

if you aint got anything going on do come and say hello, we have a good cover, a wheelhouse...and wine (best place when its raining)

Down for the first time in what seems ages bur primarily to get the engines surveyed and topside polished ahead of lifting out for the usual under the waterline maintenance in a few weeks time.. may not be ale to resist a blat around the Solent and over to the island if the weather does turn the way we all want it to

off to the boat in Majorca for a long weekend , first trip of the year, weather looks decent enough 23-27 deg c between now and Monday.

Will see what has mysteriously broken on the boat between last October when I last used/saw it and now.

The Cunard 3 Queens are all in Southampton together on Sunday. Arriving early in the morning on Sunday and then departing together at 4.30pm - it should be a great sight. Weather permitting we think we will escort them out.

Could not give a hoot about the rain, will be boating but can't miss MAY - PAC fight does anyone have any suggestions, it will be on at around 2am on Sunday am
