Second bank holiday in a row with perfect boating weather!

Here are a few photos (in no particular order), of our cruise at the weekend. We did Cookham friday night, then Henley, followed by Marlow on the Sunday.

I no longer have a boat on the Thames, (except for an occasional portable), pictures like this are always nice to see. Except the sunken boat of course. Thanks.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing. I'm currently between boats, but not long to go hopefully. Just the documentation to sort out and a good service and I'll be joining the ranks of the floating net curtains brigade :D

We had a lovely weekend and hardly saw another boat on the move until we got close to home.

We have decided that as Sydney is settling into boating life quite so well that we will change our summer holiday plans yet again and will be trailed to the Norfolk Broads for a couple of weeks. He isn't quite ready for the four to five hour sea trip yet so getting trailed there is the best option. Plus it means we get a full two weeks down there instead of the usual weeks whistle stop tour.

Is there no speed limit on the Trent?

Not below Gainsborough bridge. The river swaps from CRT waters to ABP Humber waters with no speed limit.

It's a nice bit of river to open the boat up. Lots of nice tight bends to test your handling skills.

Have to keep a good luck out for slow boats and debris though.

That's a result, sounds like a good opportunity to give her a good clean out.

Nice looking dog. He looks like he's in charge:D

It is within easy reach of our home mooring. An easy weekend run to West Stockwith and back which gives us a good chance to clear the turbo out.
