Owing to a last minute panic requiring my presence in Turkey again for a week, I will be launching FC in the week of the holiday. I rather suspect some shaking down, and getting the new whizzy bits correctly talking to each other, followed by a quick shuffle up the coast somewhere for Mrs FC's birthday, probably on board.

29th or 30th leave and going via Ostend with a North Sea virgin as crew. Meeting Sheila and crew's wife in Middelburg (Easyjet from Southend to Amsterdam then train) on 1st June then pottering up to Amsterdam allowing 2 weeks including some culture time. Then they depart and my son flies out for a week on the IJslemeer then he goes home and CPD is coming to sail back with me. Back about 25th June (in time for my birthday

Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club are planning a trip to Burnham on Saturday, possibly going on to Fambridge on Sunday, returning Monday...although I dont think the tides at Felixstowe are the best for returning on Monday so maybe it will be changed to somewhere on the Orwell Sunday night. Either way we should be out somewhere as due to family commitments we didnt get out last bank holiday weekend!

no fixed plans but Pam would prefer the shorter Oostende option, then go up North Holland & Friesland & work our way slowly back
