Banana Shark E66 At Torquay

Hi! We were there to support our sponsors E-Lites who are also sponsoring the Class III B World Championships, today is the final day of the three days of racing (Thurs, Sat and Sun) and a Jersey crew are leading with a local Devon crew in second place!

I had a couple of Norwegian UIM Officials on board to watch the racing yesterday and we are the finish boat today. Come and say hi if you see us alongside the pontoon and I'll give you a quick tour if we have time.

ps the beam is 7'4" and getting on for 38' overall - I think the stripes make it look thinner still.

How much overfuel has Barrus baged into those Yanmar BY's??

Blimey, my 27' Fountain is exactly 1' wider, and I wouldn't call her a beamy boat...
Considering also that the engines aren't staggered, isn't maintenance a nightmare?

None - they are completely standard out of the (large) box and we're still doing 70mph with more to come!

Maintenance is ok although the engines are quite close together! Interestingly the Yanmar 370hp motors would also fit as they are a very similar size - and they are a V8 which would probably get the hull into the 80+mph range quite easily :D
