I bought one of these from a boat jumble yesterday but failed to notice it has no apparent means of attachment to the pushpit. Any ideas? Mine came with a bracket attached to the vertical stainless steel piece of metal.

what do the brackets look like. I could make something up. jubilee clips wood probably do the job but look amateurish.

I have something very similar and just use lashings. Nobody has ever complained that they look amateurish but I'm not sure that I would care if they did.

mine's on with cable ties. the pushpit stanchions are a bit crowded with danbuoy, liferaft and outboard mount so the horseshoe is on the guard rails. cable ties are almost invisible anyway
