My dogs would like to sincerely thank all those people that lose balls in the Thames. They drift down and get fished out for them to tear apart. Yesterday I pulled out 6 of which two were rather splendid footballs.

Identification

A blonde goes into a golf pro's shop and walks up to the counter.

"What are those"? she says to the shop assistant, pointing to a couple of small, round, white objects, on the counter.

"They are golf balls, Madam" came the reply "but unfortunately we are almost out of stock at the moment".

The next day, the blonde goes into the shop again, to find that the delivery man has been and that there are now several boxes of balls on the counter.

"Aha"! she cries "I see you've shot another Golf"!

Possible explanation

In the words of the mighty Tom Lehrer, in relation to shooting two Game Wardens, seven Hunters, and a Cow:

The law was very firm, it
Took away my permit
..The greatest punishment I ever endured.
It seems there was a reason,
Cows were out of season
And one of the Hunters wasn't insured..........

Then you had better attend the Virgin Convention. All the Virgins aged 12 - 17 in Oxfordshire & Berkshire are having a convention, they are holding it in the Telephone Box at Didcot Railway Station.
