Re Tahitiana, this was my dream ship (as a 14 year old) after reading the article, and I carefully cut it out and filed it away at the time.

His Mum was pretty good too!!

And Mum (formerly 8P6QM on the ham radio transatlantic maritime mobile net, which she ran for the best part of 20 years) is still going strong at 88, although she gave up ham radio years ago - email is so much easier for communication nowadays.
