Bad start to the new year

Off calshot beach today new 38' motorboat picked up from the Hamble caught fire this afternoon, the 2 on board escaped with burns to their face and hands and are safe ashore in hospital according to the local radio, some video footage

no probs, bad news always seems to travel fast, I saw the fire appliance and ambulance go past where I work and wondered what poor sod is in trouble, never dawned on me it could be a boat, not until you see the video you realise how close to the beach they were, but glad also they were not badly hurt, could have been a lot worse.

Yes I too have had a bad start to the new year but not boaty bad luck.

Van broken into, tools, sat nav and boat keys gone.

Smash into a car on the ice.

Workshop broken into, somebodys got a nice box full of snap on tools now.

I wonder whats next!!!!!

I hope not mate I have am moving from ea****lands as there has been 2 attempts to nick my dinghy and outboard last year, the yard wasnt interested, didnt even walk down to my boat for a look and a reassuring chat!!!. So another empty berth there.
