Bad buoys

So how come his tomatoes are coming on so well? Is it the heat of debate?
and does he grow his own grapes for the champagne? Turning all those bottles would give you RSI.

A friend once told me that an American said to him "Gee, Henry, I just love your history - its so old"

Did a guided tour of Philadelphia once, with a group of friends, largely American. We were shown "the oldest continually occupied house in the USA." But to impress us with its age, the guide picked on various people in the group and asked how old their houses were. All went well until he picked on a Welshman in our group. "Not sure, really" he said, "But my family have lived in it since 1371."

Hee hee, just like my trip to Washington last year with swmbo. Went to the rather nice district of Georgetown, where we saw this museum piece of a house - The Old Stone House, built in 1765 (it really is a museum, with a plaque outside stating how old and historic it is). swmbo simply commented, 'my house is older than this!'
