Had a quick lift and pressure wash today.

Straight up to Brixham at 32 knots (compared with 19 max last week).

There wasn't even a lot of weed growth - just a thick layer of black/green slime.

I wouldn't have believed it could make that difference.

95 quid well spent!

I'm having mine done today. Its the first year of having a semi displacement hull so it'll be interesting if it will make the same difference as it did on the planing fairling I used to have. I'm not vcurrently suffering much lose of speed - just this dragging feeling in the water which must be affecting the speed but maybe I just got used to doing 15kts everywhere??
