Hi all, I am awaiting delivery of a Parker 790 Explorer from Poland (anytime now or depending on Putin's actions). Would like to hear from any other Parker 790 or similar owners? I will be in Chichester with the Solent as my initial playground.

I had a Parker 660 pilot house which I bought new. Loved it, it was a superb boat that took Solent chop very well. Only down side for me was the small fuel tank at only 140ltr. Apart from that, excellent.

Thanks for that vote of confidence in Parker especially in the Solent and the 790 has 230ltr which is an obvious improvement.

Here is a little video of my return journey from Littlehampton to Southampton.
My dad was at the helm and he had zero boat handling experience (been out loads with me). It was 35mph SW wind over tide on a spring. Couldn't have planned it any worse ?.
It took us just shy of 4 hours at 8knts.

The boat handled it all impeccably .

Great video and comforting to know they handle well. Yes buying it from the Boatshop at Littlehampton but it’s delivery delayed due to supply issues surrounding the chosen engine, Mercury 250Hp V8. Hope to have it in the water during late March. Do you still have the Parker or moved on?

I moved on due to family wanting more space for weekend boating. The Parker is still my favourite boat so far for fishing.
