Last week. They took lots of stuff, including our passports (so holiday this week was cancelled). Stole my car keys and Jon's. Stole Jon's car and wrecked it. My car's in the garage having locks, ignition etc changed. It just feels so scary to go to bed now.

How odd! The police are usually quite good at giving info in the experience of several friends who have had similar happen. At least you and MrB are OK which is the main thing!!!

Not at all good Pauline, presume you weren't threatened or attacked. Just hope they catch and suitably punish the #######s

Come to Guernsey and hve a well deserved break. Dont need your passport to get here.

Hope you are both ok. I am very surprised they got in with the amount of security you have at your marina.

It doesnt matter you dont need a thing unless you intend to drive.

Any problems and I will sort it out with the officials. They cant stop you coming here on Condor with no papers so why not your own boat.

Sorry to here of this Pauline, we always sleep when pos with hatches open & wash bds out.
"Secure" cctv doesnt make things secure, they just know who done-it & when !.
( if your lucky)
they will ( if they catch them) end up with "smacked wrists" & be put on "litter duty" for the odd hr or two
all the best

I'm really sorry.
I had a similar thing (from a hotel room) and it takes quite a while to fully mentally get over it even though it's so unlikely to happen again. What helped me get over that 'insecurity period' was the purchase of a small portable infra red alarm (£15 Argos)
Just be thankful that you didn't wake up because these guys are well hyped up and will do anything to 'not get caught'
kind regards
David
