Hi, I'm back. Chrispy obviously needs a lesson in anatomy. He can't tell his arse from his elbow or his gall bladder from his kidney. I had kidney stones, not stones in my gall bladder. Painfully passed last one this morning (sorry if this is too much info) and I'm feeling great.

I was very touched by all your good wishes - but certainly pissed off with Tomo re his Old People's Home jibe ....git!

I had kidney stones a few years ago - but unlike you I did NOT pass them. After the operation - I had them in a jat for a while.
I think another medical explanation of how they were removed may not be approriate - surfice to say they were "grabbed"

I'm glad you're feeling better Pauline, and very pleased you're back. My continued analysis of this BB reveals a certain lack of sparkle during your absence, plenty of posts but lacking real sponteneity and cutting wit. I can only conclude that it is the inverse of taking the cockerel out of the hen-run ;-)

Re the dusting

We were just getting settled into a nice laid back sort of attitude with no nagging just peaceful and a sense of calm.
You know how it is .

Now aunty P is back to chat about condoms and sex education .
So what does your sick note say ,

No I don't mean it ,you have not missed nout weathers been bad hardly got any work done and when I did poxy chainsaw chain broke when there were only four bit's left to cut !! for the new walkway on my moorings.
Today was good though lots of barbed wire and sharp bits of steal to help any vandals fall into the water. Then a short run down stream with spray coming over the bow.

welcome back. Never had the bloody stones, but took one of my work(what's that?) colleagues to hosp once while on a business trip. Never seen anyone in such pain. Well perhaps wifey during childbirth. Did they do the ultrasonic fragmentation on them?

Glad to see you back. Bloody painful this little buggers. Was taking to french hospital a couple of years back whilst on delivery, same problem. Didn't understand a word but I tell you the doc was seriously dishy.

Not nice things then - but trust a woman to say it was painful. How do you think they feel when they come rolling down the willie?
You see, you only really have childbirth whereas any man will tell you how truly dreadful a bad cold can be - the sort that us chaps get that is.

Have you see the advert with the guy being carried aloft by chanting monks swinging incense, bringing him home from work and his wife opens the door and says "oh, you've got another cold" - says it all really.
