i dont need my VSR to enable starting from the house battery (all are LA) i have a dedicated battery switch for that
the VSR is there to enable charging of house and start and to ensure i dont run the start battery down whilst using the house

so can i substitute the VSR with a B2B for future LiFePo4 ?
and if that is ok the B2B would not affect the shunt reading ?

Yes you can use a B2B.

You need to connect the negative to the B2B to the shunt, so it can "read" and current going to the other battery.
