My B & G instruments work fine but the "glass" is starting to degrade and the ink on the buttons has faded to near invisibility.
Anyone know where to source B & G spares (particularly the bezels for the old 20/20 & FFDs) for the best price and service?

Parts for the Hydra 2000 series are still available from catalogue, including the bezels for the FFDs. [Edit: just re-read the question, and I'm not sure which version of FFD you have. The new bezels on mine are labelled 'Hydra 2000' but the FFDs date back to 1987-88] If it were just the bezels, then it would simply be a matter of ordering them via one of their retail agents.

However, as it seems the glass may need replacement, try contacting their service department directly

I have had email correspondence with them via <sarah@bandgservice.co.uk> and <corrina@bandgservice.co.uk>

I found them helpful, efficient, but, er, not cheap.

The "B&G Service department" is, as far as I can ascertain, a well established marine electronics firm based in Lymington, whose trading name I cannot remember, but it does not include either B&G or Navico. Presumably they are working under licence from Navico.

Edit: I was greatly impressed by the continued support that is available, including software upgrades and, from Navico, telephoned technical advice for 23-year-old kit. More modern stuff [edit: based on my experience of kit from other manufacturers] may look flashier, but uses much more power.

The B&G website, though, is almost impenetrable.
