That’s useful info I have to look into that .No need yet to change ap!
If you look deep into the user manual you can over ride the data used for the network autopilot speed input.
The factory default speed input is to use the log input. If your log has failed or become fouled you can set 3 different manual speeds which allow the AP to work without a working log.
I think it is also possible to use a gps sog input but this requires a gps input is wired into the network pilot. That is a whole new world of pain that I have not explored yet!
I find going astern flat out usually clears my blocked log impeller quicker than me getting the manual out and fiddling with the AP set up!
