Can anybody point me to a web site with information about the B&G instrument network protocol and signal characteristics. Is it RS232, 242, 285 or special. I want to be able to read/sniff the network for specific signals and alarms. I have found good information for NMEA and Seatalk but lack the same for B&G "Fastnet".

Any info and assistance welcome.
Tks Ray

Re: B&G network protocol

I think it is the older "Network" series that I need. PVB's link to the B&G site is very helpful. I must say the 3000 manual is comprehensive. I'll review the info and bleat again if I need to dig deeper.

Thanks to you both.
