B&B / Hotel near Haslar Marina

Hi all, thinking of staying at Haslar this Friday/Saturday...never been before..actually not beein in Portsmouth harbour at all yet. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a nice B&B walking distance from the Haslar...or any marina...was thinking of giving the better half a bit of time off from sleeping on our little boat..

I'd say the Angelsey Hotel which is not too far but I know it's fully booked this weekend (or at least it was two days ago).

Mebbe easier/more hotel accessibility at Port Solent end......................

not quite walking distance tho.

OK thanks fellas...might hit Island Harbour marina again then and sleep on the boat...

There is an hotel on the Gunwharf keys site opposite. I think it is a Holiday Inn, but can't remember for sure.

We live and moor in Gosport. There is no walking distance Hotels but a couple of B&B within 15 minutes walk, 5 min taxi. You are better off saying onboard and using the lightship facilities.
