Can anyone remember which issue (last 12months) had the article about the 'back to basics' rallies - especially the 'unofficial' AZAB?

Also, any links to such info would help.

But only if you are between 20 and 30 feet, but then there are no rules or entrance fees.

You may enter Jester AZAB if you are over 30ft "by ivitation". This should not be a problem for a 32 footer.

You're right, but one of the none rules is that a vessel over 30 feet may enter, by invitation of the other skippers taking part, this would be arranged by Ewen Southby-Talyour, so he would be the bloke to contact.

Google up "Jester Challenge" you will find Ewens contact info there.

A Smiffy has said, look at www.jesterinfo.org and click on the entry list for the Azores 2008 event and you will see a number of boats (including Ewen's 42ft with bowsprit!) are entered 'by invitation'.
