Who knows this boat?
It seems to be a very rare jewel and that, for my criteria, turns out to be the almost perfect boat:
Open with sleek, modern lines
spacious and well organized cockpit
sundeck with garage
a full-beam aft master cabin
2 bathrooms both with walk-in showers
and, most importantly, powered by fantastic Cummins QSC 8.3 shaftline !!!

BUT: It seems to be a ghost boat.
Searching the web, we can only find a couple of them in the States, and another couple in Turkey/Montenegro, used for charter.

Definitely it does not appear to be a successful boat in the European market where, perhaps, customers are more attracted to alternatives with IPS?

The model in question appears to have been introduced around 2014/2015.
At that time, all the other brands were offering boats with 3 cabins and IPS on the same size.
Only recently they have all switched to the full-beam owner's cabin.

Azimut has succeeded in a half-miracle by being able to offer it with shaftline (but V-Drive of course)

Anybody can give me more details about this boat?

We have two in our marina not surprisingly as we are 20 miles from the Savona factory
They seem ok .One has glass patio doors it may be slightly bigger than a 50 .

Can’t comment much except the round port holes have a aluminium external frame that peels paint like all AL painted surfaces in the Med . Could have specced stainless steel or indeed plastic like the bottom end French boats but they didn’t.

On another , water settles / can’t drain away on a step down to the bathing platform so the teaks all green and manky .
No it’s not listing .It’s as if that one step tilts back instead of a degree or too down to naturally drain .

The engines on paper seem a bit small being 8.3 s compared to my slightly smaller hulled 14.7 M fitted with 12.8 L motors .

How ever as you infer this boat will save you a load of grief running on shafts .

Porto, your boat is in Loano, correct?

Yes, I was wondering if the engines were a little light for that boat.
Considering that the new Atlantis 51 is equipped with D8 600hp on IPS.
Actually, it's a good point for the 51 to have gone D8 instead of D6 as all the competitors (Princess V50, Fairline Targa 50, ...).

Yes Loano .
Some of the older by now Portofino 47 s iirc could be had on shafts .
Cayman might be another brand if the HT is a must ? Indeed as you have discovered there a plenty of smaller Italian brands with HT s still on shafts .Or re worded haven’t gone IPS . eg Pershing

I wouldn’t rule out the performance trio of Otam , Magmum and Itama if they meet these two prime conditions on your wish list ?
1- Seakeeping
2- opens .

Or if a HT is deal breaker something in the Pershing range .The 50 could be had with Arnesons or shafts and the 43 shaft only .Both MAN powered .We rejected them because the admiral wanted to move away from high gloss wood interiors and cream carpets .

Obviously it’s a balance of sizing , berth availability, running costs and projected accommodation use age .

As an aside there was a time we looked at 3 cabin boats eg a Porto 53 and even a Hatten 60 .SL 57/62 s But the running costs , berthing up grade ( from our 15m ) to only occasionally bed down another pair seemed daft .

As it happens with our two cabin boat extra guests just book in a local hotels around the marina .
Works out fine ….once you reach a certain “ mature “ age and your friends are similar aged ….they tend to want the hotel experience, there own space , breakfast service etc .As you know some women arnt too keen on the nuances of full time living on a boat .
What iam saying is don’t buy for others , chase there expectations, carry the maintenance/ running cost carrying the can for there accommodation needs boaty wise .
Leave all that to booking.com .

Fortunately we have a house in old Antibes so the boats not entirely our “ be all and end all “ Med hol accommodation, we can and do bolt over for” respite “ . Change of scene .

We just like bombing around on the boat in the open on sunny days .A bit like driving a fast car there’s something nice overtaking / out powering everything. But in a boat it’s entirely legal .

very good comment Porto, I agree with you.
On my target are the Pershing 50.1 or the Rizzardi Infive, maybe one day...at present I simply cannot afford their MAN 800hp...
But I do not need at all the third cabin. I would rather prefer a full beam cabin amidship.
Princess V52 has a very nice layout, but due to the doors you loose the aft sunpad, which for the Med I find it a must have.
