Azimut 46 layout question

The prior owners of my Snazi are in the process of buying a 46 from Italy. Not sure of the spec yet, but it will be parked at The Cabin, hopefully at the end of the month.

Ah i did wonder.

Plenty of 46s over in the Adriatic. They made almost 1500 of the buggers over the years. Still considering them but there are a few other interesting irons in the fire.

They are a beautiful boat indeed, nice layout also, 3 cabin is a must . I believe twin bunk centre cabin was standard and double was an option, I could be wrong though, I looked at many. From the cabins to saloon and fly, they have done good job. Engines very accessible from hatch in cockpit, which saves lifting the saloon hatch. Even though I seem to have paid too much ;-) , there are some bargains out there and a hell of a boat for the money. £20k and mine will be good as new (hopefully better in fact). She will then be osmosis free and new interior. I never thought I would own something like this, but I do now and am very happy with her. Good luck to your friends in finding one, especially without osmosis if it has been in the med. Not that it would put me off at the right price.
