Just noticed this week in my marina in Empuriabrava, Costa Brava, an Axopar charter buzzing around.
I know there has been quite a lot of interest in these boats on this forum. Maybe of interest to someone thinking of buying in the future or just having some fun.

They are going past a Swift Trawler....which would you prefer ?‍♂️

You know, it has always struck me as odd (‘cause it happens here too) that people sunbathe while the boat is maneuvering around port....

The only use I could possibly imagine for it is as a tender / ferry service to a very large vessel at anchor outside the port, it's bog ugly to boot as is the other one mentioned.

You couldnt imagine using it to just go and visit a bay , anchor up, sunbathe , have some lunch, swim, sunbathe for a few hours, come home?

Thats what most of this sort of boat are used for in the med.

I was in Canto last week during the show when two 'middle-aged' women topless on the back pad of an Axopar cruised through the show crowds!

Don’t hold back huh? What about day boating from your villa (or house in the UK)?

nipping out for a few hours for lunch, heating in and its warm, doors open if its sunny?

Perhaps I should explain, I am /was a yachtsman / sailor ( best way I can describe it) and never had an interest in "day boating" I sailed because I enjoyed the voyage. The idea of taking such a craft out for a few hours is a total anathema to me but each to his own.
I will admit to enjoying the hospitality of a friend on his 28M motor yacht for the odd week but I think that falls into an entirely different category.

And yet you get a car that is only good for day carring....I find that when at anchor, yotties and proper boaters, all behave the same ....swim, walk on the beach, lie in the sun...the only difference is that motorboaters will eat in the beach restaurant and they don’t release sewage into the sea...
