Apologies if the answer is obvious. I am getting to know my new Axiom 9 but the available waypoint symbols, though extensive, do not seem to include some of the basic ones I am used to e.g. an anchor symbol.

Have I missed an option?

Any guidance welcome.
Cheers
Bob

Ian,
Thanks. You are right
What fooled me was that the waypoint symbols screen doesn't have the arrow, common on other Axiom screens, indicating there are more options if the screen is scrolled. Having said that, the anchor is on a line above the initially displayed items so wouldn't have appeared even if I had thought to scroll.

Next task is to find a way of bulk editing 1200 waypoints on a PC but retaining the Raymarine specifics.

Thanks again - will watch the whole video for other education.

Hi Bob. They have also produced a follow on video dealing with more advanced Axiom operation which may also be of interest.

I don’t really know how difficult the new Axioms are to use. I was only able to answer Bob’s question because I am just about to buy one and, researching their functionality, happened to be looking at these videos last weekend.......

When I saw that the 'manual' (Lighthouse3.13 V17) was 410 pages long and online, I decided a precis and rewrite was necessary. My 'Lighthouse for Dummies (i.e. me)' is less 40 pages printed. It covers just the day-to-day operation of chartplotter, AIS and radar. It ignores cameras, drones and the augmentation add-ons.
I was surprised that in 410 pages they couldn't find space to illustrate the waypoint graphics.

I'm getting used to it (but hanging on to my SH CP300i as a security blanket!)
Cheers

I hate these on the device manuals, if it was working the manual is not needed, when it isn't a dead device viewable only manual is no help. I downloaded a full manual for mineon my laptop but would still like a paper one. If you ever publish your 40 pager, you have one customer ready and waiting.!!
