Just had awlgrip 2000 applied to the hull. The recommended polymer sealer is eye wateringly expensive. Can other users suggests alternative. They are very clear that conventional waxes should not be used

I agree, I looked for ages but eventually capitulated and bought the Awlcare product - easy to apply and goes a long way, in the scheme of things (cost of the respray) it's fairly insignificant and the so called 'high tech' car polishes are getting ever closer in price
