We will continue reduce our CofG by storing bottles of beer and wine down down in the bilges.

If you can get some of the crew to have a hangover that'll help too as they lie on the cabin sole rather than the deck.

I was wondering if Capnsensible had any experience with the Upholder/Victoria class. They saw RN service for a few years.

Very minimal. I used to occasionally operate the weapons compartment rig in the submarine school when the regular guy was on leave. That's it.

Many moons ago, I was invited to tour a US aircraft carrier (USS Enterprise IIRC).
An F15 pilot commented that things could get quite 'lively' in a storm. The deck could 'move' as much as 3 or 4 degrees.
How I laughed. I was XO of a minehinter at the time.
