Any advice on how to remove a painted boat name on the hypalon tube of my dinghy without damaging the fabric?

I've tried hypalon cleaner to no avail and also carefully scraping with a blade but this is both unsuccessful and a little risky

I removed a name (I don't know what paint was used though) on one I have recently bought and used Evo-stick remover it did no harm to the hypalon at all, but check it on one of the code No patches to assure your self if you use it. I find Evo-stick remover very good in my workshop for most tough cleaning jobs and a small tin is not to expensive. I must say the suggestion by tritonofnor above is a good one as a faint out line is still there after removing any previous name.

Hope this helps.

Haven't heard of that product- I've already ordered the hypalon paint but I shall have a look at your suggestion as it may well be something to use on another occasion- Thanks

Any Builders merchant or DIY store B & Q. I have just checked the tin and it is:-( Evo-stik Adhesive Cleaner)
I do not think the name I removed was done with hypalon paint though.
Cheers.
