I realise this question has been probably posted a thousand times over, could someone point me in the right direction on how to upload an avatar please?

Picture needs to be on the internet somewhere, not on your computer. If you need advice on that, just holler, Boatone hosts a website that is used for this purpose for example

Then go to user options, personal preference, and insert piccies internet url into the box towards the bottom titled 'Your picture'

The system will fit the pic into the allotted size and shape,so if you don't resize it yourself or shape it to fit, it may look squeezed or fuzzy if it is wrong shape and size.

65 x 75 pixels.

Doesn't have to be exact, forum softtware will fit to size
