hi all
i have changed the avatar after much frigging about getting it below 10000 thingies.
problem is its very small ( but 9999 thingies ) is the quality too high ???.
kin computers is driving me crazy /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
 
You can use an image editor programme to reduce the quality of the pic at the same time as resizing it. If you want to email the original to me (pm me with your email address) I'll have a go at it for you. Some images just will never make good avatars, as you can't reduce it in size while still making it viewable
 
If old Brendan can't manage (after all, can't even park a sketch mobo properly! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif) then I'll resize 4 u....
 
Strewth, so you realise how much skill it takes to park a boat in that position, and get the anchor down to match. you have to surf the wave in, then stop at just the right instance so you don't topple off!

and I have proof that it can be done!

Funny thing is that happened, and pictures shown in boating and national press, and on here, way after I created my avatar. Which just goes to show that my deranged imagination isn't so deranged after all /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
