Alternatively, get the code off the old belt (it'll be something like 514XL050) and go to a bearing supplier or Google for it. Probably cheaper.

Probably about a 5th of the price. I had to place a minimum order for 3. Used one, kept one as a spare & sold the third for half the total price I paid and the buyer got a real bargain. I'll see if i can find the supplier details & come back.

Gates Powergrip 580XL050 drive belt, supplied by sales@beeline.co.uk.

Check the belt length (mine was 580mm) for your set up, there are a few different lengths, but 580mm is the standard one usually supplied. XL is the tooth profile.

About 7 squid each plus p&p & VAT with a min order of 20 squid (= 2 belts). I think the chandler will charge you something like 30 squid for one belt.

They are certainly still available through Raymarine dealers, there are two variants though and the retail price is about £25.

Looking at my spare it is a MEGADYNE AT5 750 and is made in Italy

Are you sure you are talking about belts for 4000 drives - very different from 3000.

Yes, thats the point I was making - the OP was asking after a 4000 belt. May well be available from other suppliers but not under the part numbers you quote. Just don't want him getting it wrong!

Make sure you are getting it for the right model of 4000. The older one had a black drive wheel thingy, the newer ones are grey. I bought a belt from Waypoint 1 in Plymouth for about £15, if I remember rightly. Unfortunately, they have gone to the wall.
