Automatic Fridge switch

I read in one of the mags about a useful sounding device for connecting the fridge on a yacht. If I remember correctly it turned on the fridge if shorepower was connected or the engine was running but turned it off 1 hour after the engine was stopped, saving the battery unless you overrode it. Details anyone please? or better still has anyone fitted and tried one.

you could get a couple of relays from Maplin and wire them up to switch fridge on off when output from alternator detected or 240 V detected on coil sides etc . I have a relay that lights a red 12V light when 240 v detected when shore power to battery charger on
