Automatic Fire Extinguishers in Italian

I know we have some Italian speaking members. Can anyone tell me what type of auto Fire Extinguisher we have here?
The boat is 10 years old, and was sold in the UK from new, so I am assuming this is the original auto Fire Extinguisher system fitted by the manufacturers (Sessa).

I am thinking about replacing it, and would probably go for something other than powder, but would like to know exactly what I have to give me a starting point.

Seafire Kit KG3 - remote operated
ABC Powder for high effectiveness in extinguishing
Pol/Fire 30, whatever that means

am watching and reading with interest - I'm in exactly the same boat (forgive that), my Azimut has the same I think from memory and as a 2006/7 boat I'm facing the nagging imaginings as to whether it's time to replace or upgrade.
I'd read somewhere that water mist extinguishers are now available... but maybe not effective in an engine room situation?

That's the route I was thinking of taking Phil. Water mist seems like a good option....I just need to do the research into whether it will be good for a marine engine room.

Yep, looks like a powder extinguisher. Phil, my Azi has a halon system, not powder (not 100 % sure on halon, but a gas of some sort). I would be amazed if yours is powder. Best to check with an expert, but I doubt if water mist would work in the engine room, where it is likely to be an electrical or oil fire.

sorry no idea on the extinguishers, just two questions:
Don't you have to have some sort of annual certificate on these? We do and I had to replace the lot as legislation changed at some point and I couldn't get them validated.
Paul, is halon still game? I thought it was banned!

Water mist seems a lovely proposition as on a boat the raw material will be err, free! but what would it be used for? Upholstery fire from cigarette? electric hob/stove?
Pretty sure you need some sort of power (and a system to kill the e/r fans!!!) for the e/r.

Vas, halon has limited use and availability these days. We don't have to certify on the sea, only inland every 3 years, but need to ensure all ok for insurance purposes.

Look like its in good clean condition. No corrosion. Pressure gauge in the green? If so all is well.
Goolge translate is pretty good . The translation makes it ''Dust'' (Powder)

Yes just done Google translate and it does translate as dust.

Initial searching suggests that one of the Halon replacements would be the one to go for as and when I decide to change it.

Watch out for insurance wording vs service requirements for the extinguisher. The seafire system in my engine room is only certified for 10 years, and then regardless of needle-in-the-green etc had to go back to seafire for a gas-out service in order to be recertified.
