Autohelm \"tit\"

I broke my tiller last season and have made a nice new one, but I need a new "tit" for the Autohelm 2000 to attach to. It's around 6mm in diameter and 20mm tall. Any ideas where I can find one or indeed what the proper name for the part is? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Cant you just rescue the old one from the broken tiller and fit it to the new one?

16" along the tiller from a line through the pintles or the shaft

If not they are availble from from Raymarine, dealers if not direct. same part fits all as far as I know.

You can buy them from Raymarine Tillerpins Come in a packet of 5 so you can break another four tillers /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks, Vic. I'd rather fit a new one if poss and I wasn't getting a lot of help from the stealer. I'll try another one.

When you know the right term, so many things are possible. Sea Teach sold me one, so I didn't need to buy five after all.
